Thomas Frank says Arne Slot can bring Liverpool back to form following their dramatic slump. The Dutchman faces mounting pressure after a disastrous spell that has seen the Reds lose nine of their past 12 matches.
The Premier League -winning manager’s position is coming under serious scrutiny ahead of a pivotal week that could define Liverpool’s season. The Merseysiders face West Ham, Sunderland and Leeds United. They are currently sitting three points outside the Champions League spots and 11 points behind the leaders.
Their 4-1 hammering by PSV Eindhoven intensified the spotlight on the ex-Feyenoord manager, coming on the heels of back-to-back 3-0 drubbings against Manchester City and Nottingham Forest.

Yet the Tottenham Hotspur manager – himself facing criticism from sections of the Spurs faithful – believes Slot will navigate Liverpool through their current crisis.
“I think football is extremely fascinating,” said Frank
“It’s so complex and we all try to analyse and understand it. If you look at Liverpool now, the manager Arne Slot I admire massively.
“Did fantastic stepping into the first season in the Premier League, won it. Incredible in every way. And now they are struggling a bit and they have a bad spell.
“I’m convinced he will find a way out. Convinced, convinced. But I don’t think anyone has predicted that before we start the season. That’s just sometimes football.
“But that’s the thing we sometimes struggle to understand.”

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher didn’t hold back in his assessment of the squad following their capitulation against the Dutch outfit.
The 47-year-old says Slot has just seven days to rescue his position at Anfield.
