Now Amorim is doing the same with Mainoo

When Ten Hag left Amad on the bench, the fans went crazy and acted like it was the end of the world.
Now Amorim is doing the same with Mainoo, and the same fans are losing their minds again.
The next manager will face exactly the same problem. In a normal back-four system, there are only two wing positions. Amad will always has to compete with other good players, so sometimes he’ll sit on the bench – no matter who the coach is.
Very soon we’ll see the usual stuff on social media: slow-motion clips of Amad looking sad, sad music in the background, and posts saying the manager “doesn’t understand Manchester United” or is “ruining the boy”.
These same fans keep talking about wanting success and “high standards”, but they can’t accept their favourite young player being on the bench for even one game.
A big club always has very good players who don’t play every week. That’s completely normal. Most of our fans still don’t seem to understand this simple fact
