Harry Maguire tried to stay at Manchester United, despite the difficulty of doing so due to his poor performances and lack of participation with the team.
However, it appears United have no objection to the English defender remaining with the club, but under certain conditions.
The Daily Mail reported that Maguire would have to give up his high salary, currently earning £190,000 a week, and would not sign a long-term contract.
