Bruno Fernandes explains why he takes risks on the pitch

“If I didn’t take risks, no one would say: ‘Bruno loses the ball or misses his pass.’
“I could play it safe, make backward or sideways passes, but that’s NOT the player I am.
“If I did that, I would NOT be useful to the team. I take risks to help my teammates score.”
This is exactly why the Bruno debate will never end. If he plays safe, people say he’s hiding. If he takes risks, people say he’s careless.
But let’s be honest, without Bruno taking risks, this team creates nothing.
You can’t demand creativity, goals, and chances, then get angry at the one player actually trying to make things happen.
If Bruno stops taking risks to please critics, then who in this team is actually brave enough to try and win games? ![]()
